On Thursday, 8th May 2025, the Music Publishers Association of South Africa will be hosting the first ever MPASA Sync Exchange.
This event is a unique industry gathering that brings together music publishers and film, television, and advertising creatives for an intentional evening of connection and collaboration, with a core focus on sync licensing and promoting local music catalogue into visual content.
What we have planned:
- Panel conversations unpacking key issues in sync licensing: cue sheets, copyright complexities, reporting gaps, and the value of music in production
- Showcases of powerful, local catalogue offerings by MPASA members
- Speed networking between music users and publishers aimed at sparking real collaboration
We’re bringing our members and their catalogues directly into the rooms where decisions are made. This is about visibility, opportunity, and opening doors.
